The event for dancing and socializing on the most beautiful dance floor in Chianti, aimed as always at the Lindy Hoppers and all the enthusiasts and curious of the "Swing Era".
We know that in Harlem, during the swing era, there was a club where several big bands played in the same evening and tireless dancers crowded the halls. Our desire is to try to re-propose the same atmosphere of those times with lots of good live music!

And for those who don't know what Lindy Hop is, here is a brief description:
Lindy Hop is a couple dance born in Harlem (New York) in the late 20s, on the notes of Swing music by artists such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller. It is a dance that seeks the total fusion between music and movement, between "historical" figures and enhancement of personal style.
We at "Lindy Hop in Florence" have the goal of preserving and spreading Swing dance, music and culture in its purest dimension and faithful to the original spirit and technique.
